Welcome to the assignment for the Junior HTML/SCSS position.

This assignment is made up of 2 sections.
It is not a normal assignment as there are no wrong answers.

As such, read this carefully:

The assignment is a chance to show what you are interested in, what you think is important, what is your technical knowledge and what kind of person you are.

All the questions in the first section of the assignment are mandatory. Thus do all the questions in this section.
Please complete a number of questions from the second section. You do not have to do all the questions in this sections and we do not expect it. Choose the questions that you think are important.

The deadline for the assignment is Friday the 21st of July at 9:00.
Please return the answers to the chosen questions in a document with links and with the necessary attachments.

Section 1: Mandatory

1. Get the junior-html-scss-assignment repo up and running.
2. Make the index.html into a page about your favorite music artist.
   • Make the look and feel of your design fit the look and feel of your chosen artist
   • Add a ‘call to action’ button on the page to book the artist. After a click, display a message to let the user know that the artist will get back to the user.
   • Add pictures
   • Use Scss
   • Push each change you make into your repo
3. Give us the link of your own repo so that we can have a look at what you have done.

Section 2: Choose a number of questions

• What does @extend do in sass and why is it useful?

• Explain in what ways your code is better than the originals?
• Add extra pages about your artist creating a full website.
• Add a music track from your artist to the page.
• Add functionality to play and stop the track.
  • Make it user friendly
• Why is the UX of your page good?
• What would you AB test on your page to increase the click rate on your ‘call to action’ button?
• What do you think the scrum story points for these tasks/issues would be for your artist page?
  • Make the html and scss for a widget that can play multiple tracks, would be user friendly and be responsive.
  • Add a new ‘Reason to book’ section on your page which is like the ‘Reason to book’ section on this site https://www.helpling.co.uk/. With icons and text that are relevant to you artist.
• Describe the emergence of Greek civilization in the Aegean peninsula. How were geographic factors different from those in the Middle East or Egypt? How did this impact the course of Greek development?
• Give us an opinion you have, it can be about anything. You should feel strongly about it and it would be great if it was against the public opinion.
